I am a data-driven marketing professional with a specific strength set focused on ideation, strategy, achievement, learning and empathy. I am skilled with targeting and segmenting accounts, generating demand, nurturing leads, and engineering data signals for revenue teams. In addition, I am proficient in aligning messaging and value-added resources to the buyer's journey and operationalizing the delivery.
My professional experience started with a degree in Journalism, information packaging sequence, from Ball State University. Over 20 (ish) years I served in various creative roles finishing that journey with a 15 year stay at OneAmerica, an Indianapolis based financial holding company. When I started at OneAmerica the creative team was a department of two. During my time there I worked my way up to the position of Senior Art Director, Print and Web. When I left OneAmerica the creative team had grown to ten and was comprised of both print and digital designers. As the creative lead for both print and digital I was responsible for the look and feel of the brand, and I am pleased to see work they produce today continues to follow the same creative thread I started in 2000.
During the latter quarter of my stay with OneAmerica I became more involved with email marketing and landing page development as tools to drive incentive programs and 401k participation. This began a journey away from designing collateral that could not be directly measured to designing cmpaigns with objectives, budgets, and measurable results.
Recently, I've finished a three year plus stay with Sharpen Technologies. In my first 18 months with Sharpen I took on building the inbound/outbound marketing automation platform and establishing standards for web-to-lead tactics including, landing pages, web forms, confirmation emails, triggered emails, drip, and nurture programs. I then matured the process to include lead scoring, grading and progressive profiling to aid in velocity and quality of MQLs. In my remaining time I developed an intent based display program as part of Sharpen's move toward account-based marketing. At the same time, I was solely responsible for a Pardot migration and rebuild as a dependency to a new Salesforce instance. This project improved data integrity reporting and enabled multi-touch campaign attribution modeling and campaign ROI.
I currently reside in Indiana, where I work remotely for Huston based Raptor Technologies as manager of marketing automation.
